Christmas Market in The Secret Garden, Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, Deira, Dubai

On Dec 14th, the UAE Bailliage celebrated the goodwill of the season at an enchanting Christmas Market in The Secret Garden, Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, Deira, Dubai.

The amazing exclusive setup at the Secret Garden was the perfect ending for this year’s season.

At the reception we were greeted with:

Soft boiled quail egg, chives cream, beluga caviar, Rye toast

Mr. Ian Fairservice, Bailli Delegue – Bailliage des Emirats Arabes Unis welcomed all guests to the event and presented Chaîne medals to members who missed the enthronization ceremony earlier this year.

We had the honor of having a special guest Mr. John Cleese, legendary actor, writer & comedian, Creator of TV series Fawlty Towers, Monty Python. Star of film “Fish Called Wanda”, who was a guest speaker and was presented by an honorary Chaine medal.

Food and wine were presented by Mr Andy Cuthbert, General Manager Jumeirah Creekside Hotel and Mr. Nandana Wirasinha, Director of Operations

Many thanks for such a superb evening. It was Christmassy, the weather was perfect. All guests loved the ambience and food. The roast pork & crackling were particularly appreciated! The wines blended so well that and the staff were very accommodating and attentive to all our requirements.
A special thank you to the service brigade for their patience, good humour, excellent service. To the kitchen brigade – bravo for excellent cuisine. Congratulations to Andy, Vikas and your teams for making this final event of 2020 so successful and enjoyable.
