The World Chaine Day came early in the UAE. The annual Enthronization and Gala dinner took place on 8 April, 2021 at Le Meridien Hotel, Dubai.

With all the challenges presented by Covid-19 regulations we appreciate that Le Meridien was able to cope with the regulations, social distancing, space and even change-date.

Starting with the reception, the chef prepared a wide range of Canapés worthy of this special event accompanied by De Luca Prosecco and Kölsch bear sponsored by Mr. Willi Diener

After the reception, the official ceremony started by a welcome message from Bailli Délégué, Mr. Ian Fairservice followed by the induction of new members and promotions to long time members. OMGD members were inducted as well.

Following the ceremony we were all eager for the special menu prepared by Executive chef Dominic Petzold.

New members and promotees enjoyed the elegant atmosphere and ceremony. The excellent food and supporting wines were just icing on the cake. Our thanks to Chef Dominic Petzold and his Kitchen Brigade; and also Raja Data, Kunal Chand and the Service Brigade for coordination, attentive service.
